I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite places in cities that I visit frequently, to help serve as a more local guide to cool things around California!  The cities that will be featured will include Bakersfield (my current home base!), Santa Barbara (my boyfriend’s current home base!), Los Angeles (we go here a lot!), and San Francisco (we also go here a lot!).  Definitely some potential to add guides for Ventura, Central Coast, and various National Parks (Joshua Tree, Sequoia/Kings Canyon, and other places that we go!).

Ideas that I have to include are farmer’s market lists, best taco spots, ice cream options, restaurant ratings, best cafés, points of interest, best hikes, and other tips and tricks.  I will house all of these under the “Travel” section in my blog and organize them by city so everything is easy to find!
