For the Best Views in San Francisco, Visit Coit Tower

We visited San Francisco this past weekend, and did our best to check some new things off of the list while we were there.  I find that San Francisco has so many fantastic activities; we always manage to fill our time with fun adventures.

This weekend, we were looking for a fun morning to go along with eating dumplings in Chinatown (an almost mandatory activity every time I visit – follow this link to see where we ate!).  We settled on visiting Coit Tower, which is a nice 15 minute walk (uphill) from Chinatown that allows for spectacular views of the city.  Go on a clear day and see the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, and the entire bay and city!  Pictures from our visit on Sunday are below.

We went in between dumpling stops, and I definitely recommend it for a fun morning.  Chinatown is also right next door to Little Italy, so imagine all of the food options that you’ll need to walk off!  It’s $7 to take the elevator to the top, but we actually explored the park only and still got some incredible views.  Would definitely recommend our morning visit to Chinatown for dumplings, Little Italy for coffee, and Coit Tower for some sight-seeing and a good walk!  Happy adventuring!
