I’ll be honest – I wanted to post this recipe mostly because of the picture. Look how pretty and blue this smoothie is! Such a vibrant way to start the day!
Another reason to post this recipe is that it’s a great smoothie combo – I think the flavors of dark berries work super well with peanut butter (think, peanut butter with grape jelly – perfection), and banana and peanut butter is a classic combo. This trio makes a smoothie that is packed with antioxidants from the blueberries, potassium from the banana, and healthy fats from the peanut butter. It kept me full all morning (which is tough for a smoothie to do), so that really makes this smoothie a winner in my book.

Blueberry Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Method:
- Add all ingredients to a blender, and blend on high for 1 minute or until completely smooth.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
